Q&A: My WordPress Journey
What was the hardest part about creating a WordPress website?
The hardest part was understanding how all the plugins, themes, and customizations worked together without breaking the layout. Sometimes one small change caused issues that took hours to figure out. But through trial and error, I learned a lot!
Do you have any future plans for your website?
Yes! I plan to keep updating it with travel tips for solo travelers and add an online shop for custom travel kits and digital guides. I’d also love to start a blog series with solo travel stories.
Did you gravitate toward anything particular during this class?
I really enjoyed designing pages with Elementor. It made the process feel creative and gave me a sense of control over how everything looked and flowed.
Is there anything you feel you would like to go deeper on?
I’d like to learn more about SEO and how to attract more visitors to my site through search engines. It’s something I know is important, but I haven’t explored deeply yet.
Do you feel more empowered to hire or be a web designer in the future?
Yes, I definitely feel more empowered. Even if I decide to hire someone in the future, I’ll understand how things work and be able to communicate my ideas clearly. But I also feel confident enough to do a lot of it myself.
What have you gained from taking this course in relation to your degree?
This course helped me build practical digital skills that I can use to market my brand or future business. It also gave me the confidence to create a digital presence that reflects my personality and goals.
